Cougar has just announced the arrival of the new Cougar Panzer Evo chassis, a revision of the company's current chassis, which is designed to withstand everything and make it easy to transport for lovers of Lan Partys. This full-size chassis can house E-ATX-size motherboards, so we can install the highest quality components. The chassis offers a rear space, which allows extremely clean wiring and thus does not cut off the air flow.
Cougar Panzer Evo has dimensions of 266x612x556mm. The chassis allows full access to its interior and removes the area of the power supply cover, without the need to use any type of tool. We said that it can house E-ATX type motherboards, but it also supports L-ATX, SSI-CEB, ATX, micro-ATX and mini-ATX motherboards. It also has space to install up to four dual slot graphics cards with a maximum length of 390mm. Regarding the space for storage units, it has support for two 3.5 ”drives, which can be converted to 2.5” drives and thus have capacity for six hard drives.
We can install up to eight fans in this chassis, 120mm in size, of which four are already installed, or we can install a total of six 140mm fans. It accepts four 120mm radiators or two 240mm or two 360mm radiators. A fan controller has been integrated into the front panel for easy management.
The front panel has two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and of course the jack connectors for microphone input and audio output. The front has a stand to hang the headphones and in the upper area there is space to house a keyboard. The price of this chassis will be around € 140.
