Samsung Store adds TRON DApps to its mobile app store
La association between TRON and tech giant Samsung continues to reap benefits. As of today, the popular blockchain company has a dedicated section in the Samsung Galaxy Store, with applications built on top of the TRON network. In 2019, both companies announced the initial partnership agreement when Samsung's Blockchain Keystore integrated TRON.
Early yesterday, the latter reported which had become the first blockchain project to have a dedicated section in the Samsung Galaxy Store in a statement. Samsung smartphone users in Europe and the United States can now experience “the next generation of blockchain-based apps” directly on their mobile devices. TRON apps in the Samsung Galaxy store
According to the announcement, TRON recently surpassed EOS for the total number of apps on the platform. The Samsung Galaxy Store will soon have even more TRON-based apps.
We really enjoy working with Samsung on integration at the blockchain level. Now with the Samsung Galaxy Store, we are taking our collaboration to the next level by integrating both ecosystems together. This is an amazing opportunity for developers to migrate and develop on the TRON platform and put their applications in front of Samsung users..
Justin Sun, CEO of TRON
Adoption of the TRON network among users and developers should increase after the integration of Samsung, Sun added. The company has been somewhat active in terms of developments and partnerships lately. Less than a month ago, the popular blockchain-based game Knight Story launched on the TRON network.
