Telegram is finalizing its own blockchain and its own cryptocurrency called Gram

Telegram would be developing its own blockchain called Telegram Open Network or TON and its own cryptocurrency, which at the moment is called Gram.

The cryptocurrency market is very large and in it there are more than a thousand cryptocurrencies and hundreds of ICOs and many are born daily. We all know Bitcoin and it seems that no company wants to be without its own cryptocurrency. CryTek has just announced its own cryptocurrency and will now be imitated by Telegram, who intends to expand in the market and also develop a cryptocurrency and its own blockchain platform. The platform will be called Telegram Open Network (TON) and the cryptocurrency itself will be called Gram.

The information has emerged through a leak made by a former employee of the company, whose name is Anton Rozenberg, who has revealed Telegram's plans. We add to this a supposed YouTube video, which is the supposed advertisement of the messaging service platform. It seems that you want to integrate this ICO into the instant messaging solution. The platform, newly created by the company, will be natively integrated into some very popular messaging applications, but the way has not been specified. This network is expected to make use of light wallets, so it will not be necessary to download a complex and heavy blockchain.

Telegram has said absolutely nothing about the rumors. There is a real possibility that the blockchain technology TON and the cryptocurrency Gram will be carried out and possibly, it will be based on privacy and high security, just like the messaging application. Possibly in the next few hours new data will be released in this regard and perhaps a confirmation about this, but for now we have to settle for rumors.
