Croat, the strange cryptocurrency, which was born in the middle of the secessionist conflict in Catalonia, and which was born with the intention of being the first centralized cryptocurrency and whose value depends on the Catalan people.

Cryptocurrencies, among many other characteristics, are characterized by being a completely free, decentralized economic system that depends on acceptance and adoption by users and cannot be manipulated by governments, banks or other entities. So far cryptocurrencies are not attached to countries or territories and are cross-border. These premises have been 'broken', specifically they were broken or distorted on August 17, 2017, when the official launch of a cryptocurrency belonging to the autonomous community of Catalonia was announced. This cryptocurrency arises in the separatist attempt of Catalonia, one of the seventeen autonomous communities, which make up the State of Spain. This secessionist challenge has gone through several phases and from the beginning, they have intensely sought to get into the blockchain market to attract companies and even pay for different acts, declared unconstitutional, with cryptocurrencies.
