Crysis Next would be a battle royale based on the franchise
A battle royale called Crysis Next by Crytek would have been leaked. There is nothing confirmed and we would have to wait to see if it is announced or not.
It seems that these days, if you don't have a battle royale mode, you're nobody. Following the massive success of Fortnite and PUBG , Call of Duty, Battlefield, and even Tetris and Super Mario Bros. have all had battle royale modes, along with countless other attempts and imitators. The next in line appears to be Crysis, the Crytek saga that became popular because it was a particularly demanding game at the time, and which recently received a remaster.

It all stems from a Twitter account dedicated to discussing leaks , which mentions that documents have been leaked regarding a Crysis battle royale called Crysis: Next. Along with these, documents have also been leaked for Crysis VR, Hunt Mobile, Ryse Next (which would be a sequel to an Xbox One launch title), and Robinson 2 (a sequel to an ambitious PlayStation VR title).
Would a Crysis battle royale be possible? It would be more than likely, adapting Crysis 3 or Crysis Remastered to make that mode work. The destruction mechanics and the very detailed tropical and urban maps of the game would give a lot of play in a title of the genre. Although we would have to wait to see if it is a free to play or a paid game.
But for now, as is always the case with leaks, it can only be expected. A good time to announce it would be The Game Awards to be held in December, Geoff Keighley's event that always boasts of having announcements and new game trailers. But, unless outdated documents have been leaked, we can expect that in a few months, Crytek will announce Crysis: Next, its contribution to the battle royale genre.
