# E32017: Anthem, ironman suits, open world and monsters

Electronic Arts released a small teaser at its conference about this new IP from BioWare, Anthem, and Microsoft was the first to show a trailer and a gameplay at 4K 60fps.

Electronic Arts presented during its E3 2017 conference the new IP called Anthem, a space action game from BioWare studios, creators of the Mass Effect saga. It is a multiplayer-focused title in which you will have to protect humanity by playing alongside our friends.

The game is somewhat reminiscent of Destiny, Dead Space and many others of this genre, which is great news as it takes the best of each. The plot of Anthem tells the story of a group of soldiers and bounty hunters who live in a city tasked with protecting humanity. The player will be equipped with an exosuit, in the most Ironman style, with the possibility of customizing it to each individual's taste. You can also select a play style or character class.

The trailer shown during the conference has left more than one with their mouths open. The detail of the environment verged on perfection, and the physics and movement of the player wearing the exosuit gives an incredible game to maintain the dynamism and speed of action. As they have been repeating throughout the conference, the ingame trailer has been captured at 4K resolution.

# E32017: Microsoft has shown the first trailer of Assassin's Creed Origins in 4K

According to BioWare, it is a post-apocalyptic action RPG game. Unfortunately we will not be able to play it until 2018, the year in which it will arrive for both PS4 and Xbox One, Xbox One X and PC.

  1. I just came back to ask ... Didn't this website say that the Xbox One X couldn't handle 4K?

Not only native 4K but 4K at 60 fps and with a quite noticeable jump in graphic quality.

    1. The XBOX ONE X console has native 4K, yes, for movie playback and menus, the rest is scaled from 2K to 4K resolutions. The hardware that is based on Jaguar and Polaris, even though the technology is improved and optimized, is technically impossible. Only, the AMD Vega for gaming, which are not yet on the market, would support 4K @ 60fps according to AMD, it cannot be guaranteed either. We must emphasize that today eight-core Ryzen configurations already cost with a GTX 1080 Ti, which we are going to € 1100-1200 only with these two components to play at 4K, it would be absurd that a € 500 toaster could cost this. You can read the article in this regard, it is on the web: https://hardwaresfera.com/noticias/project-scorpio-microsoft-pasa-llamarse-xbox-one-x-costara-499e-4k-reales-nada/

PS: Minecraft at 4K is one of the best

    2. Well, apparently it works, I still don't know what the trick is, even if what is said here and on other websites is said ... I think that with the correct optimization and balance between the components, graphic quality and general optimizations it is possible.

On another website I read that there were many noticeable lags in the presentation of the XBX

      1. Some bumps, lack of textures and others. Although you optimize the hardware and the game very well, as long as you do not load filters and others, there is no possible way. Polaris is not bad technology, but for 4K it does not give much less Jaguar. I must remember that AMD has said that Vega will support 4K @ 60fps, for Polaris it has not said so at any time.

          1. I read a note where its features were broken down and MS indicated the inclusion of some Vega features that supposedly would help improve performance on the polaris-based GPU, which the original architecture does not have so I would consider it a hybrid ... maybe it is mostly polaris

  2. Hahaha, they put the test right in front of their eyes and they keep denying it.

Lots of 4K games (even 60fps), patches for current 4K games, but no, "the console can't handle 4K").

Now they make up things like textures and such, or that "it's not 4K), how funny it is to read people trying to defend (or in this case attack) something just out of trollism, ignorance or trying to win the click bait.

I had already promised not to return but I couldn't help but come scrub the shit with those items, and how good it feels when someone like that is given their owned. Now if I do not return and I have already convinced several not to enter xD
