# E32017: Battlefield 1: The Name of the Tsar content shown
Electronic Arts made the decision to keep Battlefield 1 active for years, by releasing DLCs, one of them, Battlefield 1: The Name of the Tsar, was presented during the E3 conference.
It is not very common for a DLC to have so much space at an E3 conference, but Electronic Arts has shown the new content that will arrive in Battlefield 1 in September with the DLC Battlefield 1: The Name of the Tsar. This expansion will bring the Russian army of the First World War, along with 6 new maps where snow will be the main protagonist, 11 new weapons, more Operations, new vehicles and a new game mode called Supplies.
Unfortunately, they have not shown which will be the colossus that this new DLC will bring, nor what will be the elite class. What they did show was the two new maps that will arrive this summer, Nivelle Nights and La Toma de Tahure. They continue with the “Premium Friends” proposal, which will return with these new maps, with the aim of not separating the community that has the Premium and those who have simply bought the game.

Also, during the conference they have offered a small preview of the expansions that will arrive after Battlefield 1: The Name of the Tsar. One of them will be Battlefield 1: Turning Tides, which will be available in December and will focus on naval battles. The other will be, Battlefield 1: Apocalypse, with a release scheduled for early 2018, but that does not have a scheduled date, and that will be set in the most perverse battles of the First World War.
