Ubisoft has left us one of the best trailer-gameplay of this E3 so far, what has been shown of Far Cry 5 has been brutal and frantic.
The Ubisoft conference has been one of the best of this E3, with many surprises and some other disappointment, such as the absence of a new Splinter Cell that would have been well received. Leaving aside the cinematic trailer for Beyond Good and Evil 2 and what we have been able to know about The Crew 2, the best that Ubi has shown has been the first gameplay of the new Far Cry 5.
The creative director of Far Cry 5 wanted to highlight the location chosen for this new installment. Accustomed to exotic locations, in this new game we will not place in Montana, with an extensive map where the player can alter with their actions. We already knew the story, a sect has dominated nearby towns with violence, with Joseph "The Father" in command. And we will be part of the rebellion to restore tranquility to the people.
In this new title, we will continue with the open world with a lot of possibilities, although, we will once again have a cooperative mode as in Far Cry 4, which was removed from Far Cry Primal. So we can enjoy this fantastic game in the company of our friends, making use of this cooperative mode. Something that is not so new is the inclusion of a large number of vehicles for use. In the previous installments we have been able to pilot almost all kinds of vehicles, and in this new title it was not going to be less, having air, water and, of course, land vehicles. The number of different weapons promises to be quite large, in addition to the different possibilities that the game offers to tackle the missions.
During the gameplay, we have been able to observe different characters, such as Grace Armstrong, a mercenary that we can recruit for our fight. This will be controlled by the artificial intelligence of the game, like Nick Rye, each with different abilities. And not only that, we have also seen how we can "hire" Boomer, a dog quite skilled in the art of fighting, both reducing enemies and disarming them and bringing us the enemy's weapon.

The game will be available for purchase on February 27, 2018, in three different editions: the standard version, the Deluxe Edition and the Gold Edition.
