During E3 2017, the new Microsoft console, the Xbox One X, can be seen in pieces, being able to see the APU where the Jaguar processor and the Polaris graphics are integrated with this architecture, of the second generation.

We are seeing in the last hours how different games are falling from the list of games that were going to work in native 4K resolutions on the Xbox One X, leaving two important losses, on the one hand Destiny 2 and on the other hand Assassin's Creed: Origins, the latter, by the way, appeared in the presentation video of the new Microsoft console along with the native 4K vitola, something that has already been denied.

Microsoft during its conference revealed the specifications of the console that were leaked a few months ago, the launch date and the price were announced, which is € 499. The problem with this console is that it comes with relatively obsolete hardware, especially in the processor, since it uses eight cores of AMD's Jaguar architecture. The GPU is saved, because it is based on a second-generation Polaris, similar to the RX 580, but with 40 graphics computing units, while the RX 580 only has 36, even so, impossible for this graphics card to support 4K resolutions .

During E3 Microsoft has shown all the internal parts that make up the console and the fundamental area is the APU, which has the approximate size of just over three GDDR5 memory modules and is where the processor and graphics card are integrated. AMD APUs, historically, have been a good solution for entry-level gaming, allowing good graphics quality, without great frills, allowing a significant reduction in the development costs of a gaming device. In addition to the APU and memories, you can also see the heatsink, power supply, hard drive and optical drive for 4K UHD Blu-ray.

The consoles, despite being closed and limited systems, have a significant audience, made up of people who like to play quick games, without having to waste time on computer settings, updates and so on. The most representative titles for console are usually sports simulators in general, which are the ones that usually attract the largest part of the public.
