December 2019 State of Play Issue
Today a new Sony State of Play is broadcast, the last of the year. Sony has recently been adapting the trailer mission format directly to Youtube and Twitch to make announcements.
There are many comparisons with Nintendo's Nintendo Directs, and they are not lacking in reason, but it is not a format that belongs solely to Nintendo. In the end, it will be the users who benefit from receiving a good number of trailers in a short time, with announcements and much-anticipated game news.
What can we expect and how to see it?
We can see the State of Play for December 2019 right here. We have a broadcast of the streaming that you can see right now on this page. The broadcast will begin at 15:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time), and is expected to last around half an hour from beginning to end.
Now comes the speculative part. The most important announcement is expected to be the Resident Evil 3 remake, of which images have been seen on the PlayStation Network servers. And the announcement is expected to be in this State of Play because Geoff Keighley has denied that the game is going to be announced in the The Game Awards this year because he insists that none of the gala announcements have been leaked.
Then there is the possibility of seeing a new Crash Bandicoot, but this rumor is supported by alleged 4chan leaks, and that art that does not correspond to that of the N. Sane Trilogy that came out years ago has been publicly seen. For the rest, we only have to wait for the State of Play to be broadcast in a matter of minutes, let's see the announcements that they will give us on a regular basis, and let's see what Sony has prepared for us for next year, which comes with great games like The Last of Us 2 y Ghost of Tsushima.
