A few weeks ago a trailer was released for Enchanted Portals, a classic cartoon-style XNUMXD platform action game for two players. If it sounds like Cuphead to you, it's normal because it's heavily inspired by it, and its creators don't deny it. Many fans have not taken it well and accuse him of blatant plagiarism, especially when they decided to ask for money on Kickstarter to get it off the ground.

But the two-man team, amid all the controversy and noise it has generated, has seen a publisher take an interest in keeping Enchanted Portals going. Also, they have listened to the critics. They admit that they took a lot of inspiration from Cuphead to make Enchanted Portals and they consider their game to praise the work of Studio MDHR. But they understand that they have to do something that differentiates it and that is why they are going to make certain changes to the mechanics and the soundtrack to make it more in line with the game.
