In October a live action series of Pokémon arrives
Pokémon games have been around for a few generations now. they do not have the technical invoice that is expected from a game from a franchise with such a reputation. But the reality is that the video game is nothing more than an engine for the machinery of events, merchandising and animated films and series, to which Game freak must be accountable and therefore, it is not so easy to delay them to improve quality. . A live action series on the Pokémon games is part of that marketing strategy and series, which was just recently announced.
Be careful, we are not saying that it is a live-action series from the world of Pokémon. It is a live action based on the phenomenon of Pokémon games in Japan. Don't expect something Detective Pikachu type, because it will be something different. It will go more into the idea of the recent animated series about the card game.
A live-action television series about Pokémon will soon premiere in Japan
Pokémon Co. has announced that they are working on a live-action Pokémon drama that will premiere on October 19, 2023. This series will be broadcast on the TV Tokyo channel, and there are no details of a possibility to see it officially in English or Spanish, but we can wait until the unofficial translations arrive soon.
This live-action Pokémon series will star Nanase Nishino as Madoka Akagi. The story will be about a young woman who moves to Tokyo to work at an advertising company, and who ends up receiving a copy of Pokémon Red Edition from her mother. The series will see her adventures as she explores the world of Pokémon.
It is expected to have an aura very similar to the Final Fantasy XIV drama series: Daddy of Light. Many people thought from the name that it could be a live-action series based on Final Fantasy XIVbut it was about how a son tries to connect with his father through the MMORPG. It's a different approach, since it can be sold as drama to people who aren't interested in the game itself, and don't want to limit themselves to the impositions of the game world.
