Computers at AMD Ryzen Unveiling with NVIDIA SLI Graphics Settings

Sample of a large number of AMD Ryzen equipment, some with NVIDIA SLI configurations and some with the Wraith cooler for the top-of-the-range Ryzen, which has RGB LED lighting.

One of the media invited to the AMD Ryzen presentation event, exclusive of media, has been Guru3D and they have made us know something very incessant. Much of the information cannot be disclosed, since it is under NDA, but there are things that have caught the attention of this medium. Among the highlights, it is a room full of computers with AMD Ryzen processors, but these computers, in the graphics section, have NVIDIA graphics cards.

We can see a large number of chassis, from companies that work with AMD and also see cooling systems, both by air and by water. Some of these systems have NVIDIA graphics, as you can see, but it seems that AMD has been working to make AMD Ryzen processors fully compatible and functional with NVIDIA SLI configurations. This is why in this equipment showroom, we have seen an NVIDIA GTX 1080 and NVIDIA Titan X Pascal in SLI configurations, in addition, there was also a team with two AMD RX 480s in CrossFireX configuration.

Both the guys at Guru3D, like us, find it strange that at an AMD event, we see so many NVIDIA graphics cards, but the reality is that AMD, on the market, does not have powerful graphics cards, since the RX 480 it is below the NVIDIA GTX 1070. The purpose of these teams is not power either, it is simply to demonstrate that an unknown Ryzen processor is capable of moving NVIDIA SLI configurations without major problems.

It stands out from the photographic ones, that one of the teams could have installed a Ryzen 7 1700 with the Wraith cooler, which has RGB LED lighting, something that we already knew from the leaks in recent weeks and more specifically, from a photo of Raja Koduri gazing at one of these purple-lit heatsinks. We leave you with a complete gallery of images for you to enjoy.
