Scan your documents without a computer with the IRIScan Anywhere 5 and IRIScan Anywhere 5 Wifi

IRIS, the world market leader in portable scanning peripherals and OCR software for almost 30 years, is pleased to announce the launch of four new portable scanners starting in February: the IRIScan Anywhere 5 (available in three colors) and the IRIScan Anywhere 5 Wifi. Ultra-compact, self-contained and powered by a lithium battery, these new portable scanning tools, first introduced at this year's CES in Las Vegas, respond to today's portability needs in a world on the move.

With IRIScan Anywhere 5, IRIS further simplifies the digital transformation of documents. Equipped with a powerful software package with an approximate value of 200 euros, including the Readiris ™ OCR program, this scanner allows the scanning of a hundred documents, A4 format, in battery mode, with a resolution of 300, 600 or 1200 dpi and a speed of 8 to 12 PPM.

The IRIScan ™ Anywhere 5 is very easy to use. Simply insert the document into the portable scanner and it will automatically be saved to the included MicroSD ™ card, ready to be transferred to a PC or Mac.

In the IRIScan ™ Anywhere 5 Wifi, the scanned document will also be automatically saved on the MicroSD ™ card and can also be transferred via Wi-Fi to all terminals (smartphone, Android ™ tablet, iPad®, iPhone®) as well as to the computer . Once at home or in the office, the scanned documents are converted directly into modifiable files with the Readiris ™ program, to be edited, archived or shared.

The OCR software package, recognized worldwide by multiple experts, allows you to easily extract all the key information from the scans. Readiris ™ Corporate converts any paper document, PDF or image into a modifiable document through the Office pack. Scans can also be downloaded to the Cloud in one click.

Cardiris ™ Corporate, also included, is business card recognition software. Once scanned, the card data is exported directly to the user's contact manager (Outlook, ACT !, Salesforce.com, or MS-CRM). Finally, the IRIScan ™ Anywhere 5 Wifi comes with the PDF compression program, IRISCompressorTM Pro, which allows in one click to compress up to 20 times the size of PDFs and, at the same time, index them. This way the user can save memory without affecting image quality, search functions or archiving. And all this, in almost 140 available languages.
