Ethereum rises 20% and wants to recover the second position that Ripple has stolen

The value of most cryptocurrencies on the market is rising, but especially Ethereum is rising, which registers a 20% rise, to try to regain the second position that Ripple has stolen from it.

The cryptocurrency market, until the Ripple rally, was based on Bitcoin as king and Ethereum in second position, although it has sometimes lost this position in favor of Bitcoin Cash. Right now the situation is that Ripple has the second position taken by the 'crypto balls' and it does not seem that it is going to release it, for now. We close and start the year with XRP as second, but Ethereum does not want to play this game and today, like the market in general, it is in the green, driven by the 5% rise in Bitcoin, which has once again passed $ 14.000.

Ethereum today is adding almost a 20% increase against just 10% of XRP, which seems more or less stable at $ 2.2-2.6, but at the moment it is over $ 2.45. The rise of Ethereum has taken it to almost $ 915, although right now it remains above $ 900. This rise, leads ETH to pass the barrier of 88.000 million dollars, while XRP is at 94.700 million dollars, a tiny difference, which XRP compensates with a greater amount of token, therefore with 'less' value, is above the market.

The rise is not caused by any specific factor, they are simply typical market movements. Above all, the movement has started in Coinbene (Singapore), Binance (Hong Kong / Japan) and Bithumb (South Korea), which have caused a significant rise in the market. It seems that this movement responds to the fact that investments that have gone to smaller Altcoin, are returning to the main cryptocurrencies of the market. Quite possibly in the next few days we will see how the value of all cryptocurrencies will rise.
