EVGA shows three different versions of the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti, called EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW3, EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC3, and EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition.
The new NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards are giving a lot to talk about and especially the versions customized by each of the different partners of the company. EVGA is one of the leading manufacturers of graphics cards under NVIDIA chips and has shown nothing but three different versions. Following the problems of previous versions of this graphics card, EVGA has improved the cooling system for the latest graphics cards, improving the dissipation system and the technologies used.
These new graphics cards are led by the EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW3, which has the For The Win 3 heatsink, a heatsink composed of three high-power fans and high cooling capacity, in addition, internally it has a large number of internal sensors temperature, to avoid excessive heating of the graphics card. Next up is the EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC3, a graphics card with a somewhat smaller heatsink, which has three fans, but somewhat different in design from the FTW3 version.
Finally we have the EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition, which is quite similar to the EVGA SC3, with some limitation, although we do not know what this is. The last of the versions uses a lower capacity heatsink, called iCS, which only incorporates two fans and does not include the nine temperature sensors as the two higher-end versions. The frequencies of these graphics cards have not been revealed, but the EVGA FTW3 is the one that aims to have a greater power, highlighting the 8 + 8-pin PCI power connectors. There is no data on prices either, but the EVGA FTW3 could be between € 900-950.
