EVGA introduces the NVIDIA GTX 1080 FTW2 graphics card, this time with a very rigorous process to avoid new thermal problems.
NVIDIA at the end, in the press conference where I presented several news from the company, I did not present the GTX 1080Ti, but some brands, such as EVGA, have not been quiet and have worked on improving the GTX 1080. EVGA specifically presented the EVGA 1080 FTW2 , a major improvement in the graphics card. This graphics card comes after the original EVGA GTX 1080 For The Win was a temperature problem, something that was fixed with a BIOS update and a modification of the thermal pads.
EVGA wants to offer a high-performance graphics card, such as the GTX 1080 FTW2, this time with all polished aspects, being a fully operational graphics card that leaves the thermal problems suffered by the predecessor in the past. The company has published some images about this graphics card, with a modified heatsink called ICX with a backplate that helps improve the cooling of the graphics and surely the PCB will also be customized.
Far from all this, EVGA has not given any more data, such as the working frequencies of this graphics card, so we can guess that this graphics card will reach the market in a very short time. This graphics card has been put to the test in a very demanding way, passing a lot of tests before making it official, to make sure that they do not have problems with excess temperature again.

I had all my respects to EVGA but this seems like a joke. So the one who has the FTW will never be able to use it at max because it will surely be over hot: /?
