Fallout 76 wants us to pay a subscription for premium content

Fallout 76 has been updated to include a paid subscription in case we want to improve and private servers. A year comes out for a hundred euros.

It's not that we like to speak ill of Fallout 76… We wanted it to be a good game, but they don't give us any reason to defend it or speak well of it. Since its launch, the game has been plagued with bugs, content delays , and broken promises . Now we have to talk about another of their harebrained schemes: a paid subscription to get premium content after having already paid for the game.

Pay to have more content in Fallout 76

After rumors that are not fulfilled that Fallout 76 could become a free to play to encourage people to play and remove the entry barrier, now they want to charge their players a subscription if they want to have more content. That's the Fallout 1st service.

In theory the idea is not bad, but we are talking about a game that still costs money to access and does not have content to justify it being a game as a service. Now, what do they sell us? For 100 euros per year or 15 per month:

One might think that with only the Atoms they give it is worth paying for Fallout 1st. And it's okay if you like the game. But do not blame the problem that the game still has little content despite having promised us regular updates. They still do not have NPCs to bring the game to life and that we do not spend all our time fulfilling the orders of the robots that populate West Virginia. Maybe at another time they could ask for subscription money and that special content, but for that they have to add a lot of things to Fallout 76.
