FiiO launches the FiiO K9 amplifier in Spain

Asian manufacturer FiiO, known for its high-quality audio products, has added a new desktop DAC and headphone amplifier to its catalog . The FiiO K9 amplifier aims to deliver high-quality sound with features similar to the K9 PRO, but at a more accessible price of €549,99.

As a low-end version of the K9 Pro, the aesthetic design of the FiiO K9 is unchanged from the original. Their size, weight, case material, and power supply method are basically the same. But it is in the configuration of the internal core that it stages a very interesting option for the most restrained budgets.

One of the K9's most outstanding features is its dual ES9068AS DAC chips. These decode the left and right channels separately . These 32-bit chips utilize ESS's Hyperstream II architecture to deliver a high dynamic range and extremely low distortion, providing audiophiles with a truly balanced listening experience. This means you can enjoy your music without any unwanted noise interfering with the sound.

The signal is passed from the DAC chips to the dual THX AAA 788+ amplifier chips, providing 780mW output power into 300Ω and up to 2000mW into 32Ω. These amplifier chips offer a low distortion sound profile.

The FiiO K9 amplifier also features Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity . This allows you to enjoy the latest high-fidelity Bluetooth codecs, such as LDAC and aptX HD. This faster and more stable version of Bluetooth is even better at delivering latency-free, high-definition playback.

You can easily play high-resolution 32-bit/768 kHz audio with high fidelity thanks to dual-mode clock management. The buffered volume knob works by ADC curve reconstruction. So you can adjust precisely and smoothly between 120 volume levels, with minimal noise and volume drift between the left and right channels.
