Filtered first CPU-Z capture of a six-core Intel Coffee Lake processor

A leaked capture of the CPU-Z showing a six-core, twelve-thread Intel Coffee Lake processor working at a frequency of 3.5GHz, although the model is unknown.

The processor war continues and in this case the first CPU-Z capture of an Intel Coffee Lake processor has appeared, which would have six cores and twelve processing threads. We do not know much about these processors, we only know that the Core i7 will be six cores and twelve processing threads, the Core i5 will be four cores and eight processing threads and the Core i3 will be four cores and four processing threads, Although these data are simply leaks, there is no official confirmation.

This six-core processor will have an LGA 1151 socket and will have an 80W TPD. The processor shown is clocked at 3.5GHz and the maximum multiplier will be x43. Most likely it is an engineering sample, since we see this this is not identified, showing as CPU name '0000' with a frequency of 3.5GHz and we see that this was working at 3.9GHz, possibly because it was operating under the Boost mode. The only thing that is clear is that Coffee Lake, with six cores, will hit the market shortly.

We must remember that the rumors reached by CPC Hardware speak of a Core i7 8700K, which would work at a base frequency of 3.7GHz, while for the mid-range we would have the Core i7 8600, which will have a frequency of 3.6GHz. Clearly the sample is very different from what has been leaked, therefore it leads us to think that we are talking about the Core i7 8700 without 'K', since they usually have a cut in the frequency, to reduce consumption with respect to the versions 'K'. What we need to know is the price of the processors.
