Filtered the first benchmark of the AMD Ryzen 3 1200 processor for entry gaming

AMD unintentionally, after the introduction of the AMD Ryzen Pro processors, filters the performance of the new AMD Ryzen 3 1200 processor, which offers good performance and will be an ideal solution for entry-level gaming.

After the presentation of the AMD Ryzen Pro, by accident or not, AMD itself filtered data about its AMD Ryzen 3 1200 processors. This processor will be the most discreet of the Ryzen family and will have the mission of competing for the gaming market of entry, with optimal performance for an extremely reasonable price. Said processor will have four cores and four processing threads, with a base frequency of 3.1GHz and a Boost frequency of 3.4GHz, it will not have XFR, it will have a TDP of 65W and it will foreseeably cost about $ 129.

Logically, with these characteristics we cannot pretend that it is a high-performance processor, which beats Intel's Kaby Lake, but for performance / price it is sure to make a place in the market. In the comparative table that has been leaked, on the performance in CPU Mark, we see that it far exceeds the FX 6300 with six cores and is quite on par with the Intel i5 3570K (coincidentally my processor), also with four cores and four threads of prosecution. The Intel Pentium G4560 with two cores and four processing threads does not appear in the comparison, which offers brutal performance for a very low price.

AMD, logically, will exploit its ability to offer optimal performance processors for a reasonable price, basically, what it has been doing so far with the Ryzen. The Ryzen 3 1200 will have to compete with the Core i3 and with the Pentium G4560, some quite tough rivals, especially the latter, which is around € 60, which we have tested and we have to say, it is a real beast. We will have to wait for the Ryzen 3 1200 to reach the market, to see how they behave in gaming.

    1. is that sandy bridge is sandy bridge ... it is the best intel I have gotten in many years ... luckily with amd's low ... now the poor sandy bridge still have the right thing to do, although they can still get juice

  1. G4560 really has an excellent price ... very good, but from there to do all those praises and say that it has a brutal performance! I think you're exaggerating !!

    1. I have one and I assure you that it is very, very good for the price it has, nowadays an economical configuration that serves both for the home and the office, has a great ally in this processor.

      1. The price / performance is not discussed, only that, I find that it is exaggerated in the praises and adjectives
