Filtered data from an AMD Vega with ID 6864: 00 in CompuBench

New data from a hitherto unknown AMD Vega graphics card has been leaked in CompuBench, since it receives the ID 6864: 00, of which we had no reference so far.

Today they should not want us to have the first cup of coffee of the day, since another important leak has just occurred, in this case on AMD Vega. The data of an AMD graphics card has just appeared in CompuBench, until now unknown. This graphics card is called AMD 6864: 00 and which has been detected as gfx900. Undoubtedly it is a graphics card based on AMD Vega and which would have 64 Comput Units and that has an identification like the one that was leaked in the latest Linux drivers.

We know that if or if this is a graphics card with AMD Vega GPU, what we are not is that it is an AMD Radeon RX, a Radeon Pro or a Radeon Instinct. The only thing we have confirmed about Vega is that these graphics cards will have HBM2 memories. Theoretically, gaming graphics cards will have 4GB and 8GB of HBM2 depending on the model, but the filtered one has 16GB of HBM2, therefore we could be facing the graphics card that was leaked a few days ago based on the Linux drivers, which indicated that it would have two Vega GPUs on the same PCB and it would be water-cooled.

Be that as it may, what we know is that this graphics card, according to CompuBench, is that it will have a frequency of 1600MHz, as can be seen in the data and it is not mentioned whether it will have Boost mode or not, although it is likely to have this . We see that this graphics card, finally, has 64 Compute Units. If AMD maintains the GFX9 architecture principle, this GPU will have 64 Cores per cluster and therefore, we should have 4096 Stream Processors.

Entry Value Facts & figures
CL_DEVICE_GLOBAL_MEM_SIZE 16978542592 bytes = ~16GB
CL_DEVICE_MAX_CLOCK_FREQUENCY 1600 Maximum clock boost (MHz)
CL_DEVICE_MAX_COMPUTE_UNITS 64 64 * 64 = 4096 Stream Processors
