Fortnite: Blackout will not affect our inventory

Fortnite is in a blackout and they fear for the future of the game. They won't take away our cosmetics or our V-Bucks.

As of this writing, Fortnite is in something of a blackout. After finishing season 10, the map has been destroyed by a black hole and the only thing in the launcher is the remains of this space-time disaster. And there are those who fear that this will affect the progress of the players in the game, that is, their skins and virtual money.

Fortnite is safe for now

Faced with the doubt that the future of Fortnite brings, the first thoughts are that they may have decided to suddenly end the game. But it is an incredible source of money in all sections with what happens in this case is practically impossible. Everything points to a new and improved version. But ... What will happen to our skins and virtual money?

In response to the uncertainty, the official PlayStation support Twitter account has stated that all cosmetics and in-game currency remain intact. While this may seem obvious, many players are still wondering because they don't want to lose the money they've invested in battle passes, V-Bucks, and other progress. Epic Games has been eerily silent, but it's clear that Fortnite will be returning soon. It won't be long, as they plan to release the physical Darkfire Bundle for consoles this November, among other things.

Now, what news will you have? It is clear that a huge rework is coming, one that involves the entire map and they have made this publicity stunt to justify it in the universe itself, as happened with the end of Final Fantasy XIV to make way for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, which has the end of the original failed MMORPG as part of its story.
