Fortnite: modified the Plastic Soldier skin to make it look better
Fortnite had a cosmetic skin that gave players an obvious advantage in various settings. Players who are not happy with that change can request a refund.
Fortnite boasts that cosmetics do not influence the game. They only serve to show off to other players and show off money from having earned V-Bucks over several seasons. Or that's what it looks like until we find the Green Plastic Soldier skin.
Fortnite had a skin that gave a clear advantage
This look is based on the classic green plastic toy soldiers, which many of the newer generations will know from the Toy Story movies. As we said, a skin and any other cosmetic does not influence the gameplay at all unless they have been overlooked that with the color it can be merged with the environment.
Precisely because it imitates the green soldiers, the color of that skin made that in many occasions and places (Fortnite has many green areas), it is considerably difficult to see and gives a certain advantage over other players. Of course, fans have been asking Epic Games to make certain changes.
His response has been to modify the skin so that it has mud, ripped clothing, and has a brighter border that reflects light better so it's not so hard to see. Certainly the look she must have looked at first after having proven that the colors did not cause her to have camouflage in many of the game's areas. Something similar happened with a Junkrat skin from Overwatch, that the scarecrow mixed with a gesture managed to be camouflaged at a key point on the Ecinchenwalde map and prevented the enemy's charge from advancing when he was defending.
