Fortnite will have a future event with Batman

Fortnite is preparing to have an event with the dark knight. The reason could be the Joker movie.

A new Fortnite update is expected tomorrow, which routinely updates every Thursday with new content. Several users dedicated to extracting content from the game have seen that a series of content related to Batman.

All this information comes from Luca7Yoshi's Twitter, a user known for looking inside the game files. He has been publishing recently that Fortnite has been putting resources regarding a more than safe event with Batman.

A loading screen, graffiti, gliders, weapons and skns related to Batman have been seen. Most likely, they will be implemented this week as a way to promote the new Joker film, starring Joaquin Phoenix and which promises that it will be something to talk about whether superheroes in the cinema can be taken seriously by critics and even the Oscars. These conversations, of course, forget that Heath Ledger landed a posthumous Oscar for his portrayal of the Joker in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Trickster, Black Panther landed three Oscars this year, and Watchmen is highly rated by critics, among other examples.

Returning to the subject that concerns us, Fortnite is going to promote Batman. Nothing strange knowing the scope it can have. Recently red balloons were put in the game to promote It Chapter 2, a movie that much of the audience of the world's largest game should not see because it is not suitable for their age, and the same for this Joker movie. But money rules and films of this type that cost more money to produce and need to be more culturally relevant, so they should be noticed in all possible places. Knowing that millions of players spend hours in Fortnite, it is normal that it is a showcase for cultural events.
