Fractal launches a revision of the Fractal Design Define R5 in white and gold.
The arrival of Christmas is bringing a large number of new products, as is the case of the new tower by Fractal Design, a tower that leaves no one indifferent and that has surprised us, not only because of its design, but also because of its finish. . This new Fractal Design Define R5, which is characterized by being a completely white tower, but with a small difference with respect to other towers and is that it has several golden elements, such as its legs, its PCIe expansion ports, the hard drive bays and 2.5 ”hard drive brackets hidden in cabling section.
This tower allows the installation of two 5.25 ”drives and supports up to eight 3.5” or 2.5 ”hard drives, as needed, and two 2.5” SSD drives in the rear area, where the cabling is hidden. In addition, this tower supports a maximum of 180mm high coolers, 190 / 170mm power supplies and 310mm long graphics cards with the hard drive bay and if we remove it, it supports 440mm long graphics.
It has space for two 120 / 140mm fans in the front (includes a Fractal Design Dynamic GP14fan fan), one in the rear 120 / 140mm (includes a Fractal Design Dynamic GP14fan fan), three in the upper 120 / 140mm, two 120 / 140mm at the bottom and a 120 / 140mm fan on the side, it also has dust filters in the front and bottom area.
If we want to install liquid cooling, in the front it supports radiators of 360/280/240/140 / 120mm, in the upper area we can install a radiator of 420/360/280/240/140 / 120mm, in the lower area it supports radiators 240 / 120mm and in the rear area we can install a 140 / 120mm radiator, according to our needs.
Finally, in terms of connectivity, it has two USB 2.0 ports and two USB 3.0 ports, in addition to the microphone input and audio output usual in these towers. We do not know when or for what price we will be able to acquire this tower. You have to be careful, because the Fractal Design Define R5 White and Gold is a limited edition.
