Filtered the specifications of the Intel Core i9 and Core i7 of the Rocket Lake-S family

The working frequencies of the Intel Core i7 and Core i9 of the Rocket Lake-S family have been revealed, without interesting news

This month the new Intel processors Rocket Lake-S. They will be the last monolithic processors from Intel and also the last to be based on the 14nm node. Well, in the last few hours all the data of the Coer i9 and Core i7 of the Intel Rocket Lake-S family have been leaked.

Possible specifications of the Intel Core i9 and Core i7 of the Rocket Lake-S family

The Rocket Lake-S family of processors is totally uninteresting, if we're realistic. At the end of the year the Alder Lake-S @ 10nm with support for PCIe 5.0 and DDR5 would be launched. The only relevant thing that the Rocket Lake-S offer is support for PCIe 4.0, something that is only relevant for M.2 SSDs. This and a great IPC improvement over Skylake, since they are based on the same architecture as the Tiger Lake-U but under the 14nm node.

Thanks to this filtration we can see the working frequencies of the B-0 variants. Perhaps the most interesting thing is to see the working frequencies according to the number of active cores. We already know that the fewer the number of cores, the higher the frequency due to the limitation of heat.

As top-of-the-range models we have the Core i9-11900K and Core i9-11900KF. These two processors have a base frequency of 3.5GHz and a Boost frequency of 5.3GHz. The only substantial difference between the two processors is that the KF model lacks integrated graphics.

We have the Core i7-11700K below, which also has 8 cores and 16 threads, like the Core i9. The difference lies in the working frequencies of these processors. On the core i7-K the maximum boost frequency is limited to 5.0GHz, which is lower than that of the Core i9. A cut in frequency to prevent both processors from performing more or less the same.
