Announced by G.Skill, new Flare X RAM modules, working at a frequency of 3.400MHz and CL16, specially developed for AMD Ryzen 2000G APUs.
When the new AMD Ryzen processors came on the market, there were many problems, especially with the issue of RAM memories, which did not work at the correct frequencies and some models were not detected. That is a thing of the past. Now, G.Skill, announces the launch of a Flare X memory kit, specially optimized for AMD APUs, specifically the Ryzen 2000G. They will only release a kit of these memories, which is called F4-3400C16D-16.
The denomination described refers to the fact that it is a DDR4-type G.Skill Flare X kit with a capacity of 16GB distributed in two 8GB modules, each one. These memories also work at a frequency of 3.400MHz and the latencies are CL16-16-16-36, working these memories at a voltage of 1.35VGSkill has also commented that later they would have the intention of launching a memory kit working at 3.600MHz .
This is because Pinnacle Ridge APUs are based a lot on frequency, even more than first generation Ryzen processors, because the APUs have integrated graphics and that requires a higher frequency of memories, to improve the maximum performance. This will also happen with the new Ryzen 2, where it will be even more noticeable, since these new processors have a new memory controller, with lower latency than the first generation.
G.Skill has succeeded, because they are very demanding with memory chips, since the higher the company's memory family, the more quality they look for in these chips. These modules are also characterized by having high quality aluminum heatsinks, to improve temperatures and memory performance, although we well know that RAM does not tend to overheat, every degree counts.
