G.Skill launches a new RAM memory kit, G.Skill Trident Z, in a size of 16GB, in two modules of 8GB each and working at a frequency of 4333MHz.
RAM memory is at an absurd moment, where the price is completely illogical and instead of improving, it looks to be getting worse as the months go by, as we already know and it will not be until 2018 when prices should fall again drastically and significantly. While this materializes, G.Skill continues working to offer the best product to its customers and has developed a new G.Skill Trident Z memory kit, which works at a frequency of 4333MHz and has CL19-19-19 latencies. -39.
These new G.Skill memories work under 1.4V and will arrive in a kit with a capacity of 16GB, offering two modules of 8GB, each. It will officially be the first kit to hit the market under a 4333MHz frequency, which is a major achievement. They have been developed thinking about the LGA1151 socket and more specifically for the Z270 chipset, which belongs to the Intel Kaby Lake family and two modules will arrive to support a Dual Channel configuration. Right now these memories for AMD Ryzen do not make sense, since problems persist when working with frequencies beyond 2400 / 2667MHz.
This kit has not been developed for the general public, but it has been commented that it is designed especially for overclockers, offering a high-performance solution, since among others, they use high-quality chips, selected individually and by hand. They are so good for overclocking, that they have shown these memories together with the Intel i5 7600K processor and the ASUS RoG Maximus IX Apex motherboard, as they are capable of reaching 4505MHz without problems and thus work in a stable way and with CL19-19 latencies -19-39. Under these parameters, these memories offer a reading speed of 55GB / s and writing speed of 65GB / s. No data has been given about the price or the date of departure, but let's see what they are capable of, they should be around € 500.
