GALAX Announces Custom Version of the GTX 1080 Ti, the GALAX GTX 1080 Ti EXOC

The GALAX GTX 1080 Ti EXOC has been announced, a brand that in Europe is called KFA2, which will incorporate the same heatsink as the KFA2 GTX 1080 EXOC and would have factory overclocking.

There are very few days until the NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti reaches the market and little by little we are learning more information about graphics cards developed by NVIDIA partners. The company GALAX, which in Europe is called KFA2, has presented the KFA2 GTX 1080 Ti EXOC (we will use the European name), which has the same heatsink as the KFA2 GTX 1080 EXOC. This heatsink has no less than four heatpipes, two of which are 6mm and the other two are 8mm, crossed by 41 aluminum fins.

The functionality of the heatpipes is to distribute the heat through the heatpipes to the dissipation fins and that the two 100mm fans dissipate the temperature. The fans have an initial operating speed of 1550RPM, and can go up to 2400RPM, which will depend on the temperature of the GPU. KFA2 has included an aluminum backplate, which first aids in dissipation and second, helps prevent this graphics card from bending due to its weight.

This KFA2 GTX 1080 Ti EXOC incorporates three red LEDs in the fan area and the logo in the upper area can be illuminated in various colors. Quite possibly this graphics card arrived with customization, therefore, it would arrive with factory overclocking, but that is something that KFA2 (GALAX), like the other manufacturers, has not announced. We remember, that the first benchmarks that have appeared, puts this graphics card at the height of the NVIDIA Titan X Pascal, among others because it can reach 2GHz through overclocking and the new GDDR5X memories used.
