Interesting GALAX solution for compact equipment with this single slot GTX 1070.

GALAX (here in Spain), has developed a somewhat unique graphics card, specifically it has created a GTX 1070 with a compact heatsink that occupies only one slot. The new GALAX GTX 1070 has an extremely slim heatsink, which makes it ideal for very compact gaming equipment, since it only occupies one slot on the motherboard and on the back of the chassis for anchoring PCI components. It will hit the market at the beginning of this next year 2017 and will arrive in the first instance in Europe and the United States.

This interesting graphics card will hit the market with a price of $ 379, which is interesting, since the price is very competitive. The GPU of said graphics will arrive with a base frequency of 1506MHz and a Boost mode of 1683MHz, which are the same as standard on this graphics card, so we will not see variation in this aspect.

Due to being low profile it only has three connectors, a DVI-D, an HDMI 2.0 and a DisplayPort 1.4, which in this regard makes it a little inferior to the dual-slot GTX 1070 that in addition to the aforementioned ports, it has two more DisplayPort 1.4 ports.

The GALAX version of this chart has a custom PCB, with a copper heatsink that takes up the entire PCB of the GTX 1070 and requires an extra piece for the fan, which will enhance the cooling of the GPU. The truth is that the PCB is very compact and it looks quite similar to that of the GTX 1060, what's more, it draws powerfully attention that it has the SLI connectors, therefore it seems quite obvious that at least two can be mounted on this type Of configuration.
