It seems silly but the issue of accessibility is a pending issue that many games have. Small fonts for subtitles, complex controls to perform actions, lights and strong camera effects… Gears 5 has taken these people into account and has implemented many accessibility options.
Accessibility in video games is important
What do we mean by this? Well, The Coalition has implemented many options to bring the information to the player to players who have certain problems that prevent them from playing many games optimally.
For example, a player with any variant of color blindness may have problems if asked to recognize colors. That is what Gears 5 has with options to adjust the color palette so that depending on what variation, the player can see it better than with the default settings. Then there are those who may feel dizzy when the screen is moving rapidly, that you can set that too.
