GIGABYTE announces its 2017 Overclocking season

GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of motherboards and graphics cards, is pleased to announce four overclocking competitions starting in early March and running through the end of July, taking place on HWBOT.org. Overclocking professionals will be able to test their skills to see who will be crowned the winner. This year the bar is higher than ever with close to 10.000 euros in prizes. Entries are open to all those who want to participate, whether or not they have the best scores, the only requirement is participation in each of the stages of the competitions. Veterans and beginners alike will have the opportunity to take home the awards to practice for future competitions.

GIGABYTE will award winners and contestants with AORUS Z270X-Gaming 7 motherboards, GIGABYTE Radeon RX480s, Intel Core i7-7700K processors, G. SKILL memory as well as Enermax liquid cooling and power supplies.

Each competition will have multiple stages divided into a series of tests. These tests will consist of 3DMark Fire Strike, XTU 5G, Catzilla and much more, so participants have a wide battlefield. Each participant will earn a series of points based on their score in those fields. The three participants with the highest score at the end of each competition will be the winners. As simple as that! It's time to get down to business and get the thermal grease out as GIGABYTE overclocking season is about to begin!
