Gigabyte wants to get into this growing industry and has presented a special motherboard for cryptocurrency mining, based on the B250 chipset. We are talking about the Gigabyte B250-FinTech, focused directly on mining cryptocurrencies, offering twelve PCIe slots, backed with two Molex connectors for power and system stability.

Something very particular about this motherboard is that it has a BIOS developed specifically for cryptocurrency mining, offering special optimization, which increases performance in terms of mining and that it has many special settings and parameters to configure the motherboard in the mined. High-quality components, such as Gigabyte Ultra Durable, have been installed to extend the life of the motherboard to the maximum.

This motherboard offers an LGA 1151 socket, for Skylake and Coffee Lake processors, which is complemented by a 6 + 1 power phase VRM system, has four DDR4 DIMM slots, has five SATA 6Gbps ports, in addition to be powered by a 24-pin ATX connector and an 8-pin EPS connector.

Gigabyte is aware that for so many graphics cards, more than one power supply must be used, at least two, that is why this motherboard has a 3-in-1 power cable, which allows us to connect up to three power supplies simultaneously, to save us making bridges and other adjustments. We don't know when this motherboard will be available or what its price will be, but it seems like a very interesting solution.
