Gigabyte would have leaked the 3070 GB RTX 16 Ti, 3080 GB 12 and RX 6500 XT

The manufacturer Gigabyte would have confirmed the existence of several new graphics cards from NVIDIA and AMD that have not yet been announced, all of them being remodeling of existing products. The graphics listed by Gigabyte are a 3070GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 16 Ti and the 3080GB RTX 12, along with a new AMD RX 6500 XT.

All this comes from a list of products presented to the European Commission before the EEC. But the report only confirms the names and the amounts of VRAM available for the Nvidia models, although there have been rumors in recent months that give truth to these graphics reshuffles.

Gigabyte brings new RTX and new RX rumors to life

Recent rumors claim that the RTX 3070 Ti mentioned by Gigabyte doubles its VRAM while maintaining the same number of Cuda cores. For the RTX 3080, the data bus must be increased to 384 bits in addition to the VRAM in order to support the 12 GB of VRAM. It would mean a 20 percent increase in overall performance, although the same number of Cuda cores would be maintained to maintain segmentation compared to the RTX 3080 Ti.

The RX 6500 XT, which would have been leaked by Gigabyte, would have 4GB of memory since it is geared towards the entry-level range. This would make them have a card that would not interest cryptocurrency miners, even if it is not the graphics that enthusiasts would most like, but rather for gamers who want a graphics that allows them to play modern titles.

The 3070GB RTX 16 Ti and 3080GB RTX 12 cards are expected to launch on December 17, but the RX 6500 XT won't be announced until CES 2022 in early January. These lists are usually made when there are less than weeks until their official presentation, which increases the probability that they will at least be officially presented.
