Gigabyte has developed the Gigabyte H110-D3A motherboard, a motherboard intended for mining cryptocurrencies using a graphics card, which supports up to six graphics cards.
Manufacturers have seen the potential of mining and it is for this reason that Gigabyte, given the interest that this market arouses, has developed a motherboard intended for mining cryptocurrencies. This motherboard is called the Gigabyte H110-D3A and like other motherboards destined for this market, they use the simplest chipset of the Intel Skylake family. This motherboard has an LGA 1151 socket, compatible with Skylake and Kaby Lake processors. 5 + 1 power phases have been provided for the processor and the Intel H110 chipset, more than enough for this segment.
This motherboard is ATX format, like the vast majority of motherboards intended for cryptocurrency mining and offers a PCIe x16 slot, like all motherboards for this practice and also has five PCIe x1 slots, therefore they can be mounted up to six graphics cards. This motherboard has more than two four-pin Molex connectors, in case the Raiser does not have its own power. Usually all motherboards have these connectors, in case it is necessary to feed them through a plate and it will not be directly integrated.
Regarding the rest of the features of the H110-D3A, we see that it has two DDR4 DIMM slots for a maximum of 32GB of RAM, it has four SATA 6Gbps ports and offers an M.2 SSD port. Regarding connectivity, it has a COM port, PS / 2 for mouse and keyboard, two USB 3.0 ports and two other USB 2.0 ports, HD sound and DVI video output. We do not know when this graphics card will arrive and will be around € 70. Competition in this segment is very strong, as Biostar and ASRock have a certain advantage.
