Gigabyte explains in its forum, that they did not implement the AGESA 1071 code due to technical difficulties, but that tomorrow a new BIOS will arrive for AMD Ryzen motherboards with the AGESA 1072a code.
AMD Ryzen processors hit the market with a lot of performance, stock, and many other issues, but with the passage of time, all the problems have been solved and the processors have improved over time, like good wine. The initial motherboard problems that we saw were due to BIOS in development phase, booting the processor and little else. Thanks to the implementation of AGESA codes, we have seen a substantial improvement in them and now we know that Gigabyte will release a new AGESA BIOS.
It has been posted on the Gigabyte forums that the AGESA 1071 code was not implemented, because it was too troublesome and difficult to implement and work properly. In the company forums it has been specified that tomorrow, a new BIOS with the AGESA 1072a code should arrive, what is not clear is the time of availability of these drivers. Neither have all the news to be implemented in this new BIOS been revealed. We will have to wait until tomorrow to know all the technical details.

It seems to me that it only fixes bugs of the previous one and explicit support for the next APUs.
