22 Ray Traced games for the new NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti, RTX 2080, and RTX 2070.
Up to 22 games will have support for Ray Tracing or Artificial Intelligence for the new NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti, RTX 2080 and RTX 2070.
During the presentation of the new NVIDIA graphics cards, the RTX 2080 Ti, RTX 2080 and the RTX 2070, a preview of all the games that will support Ray Tracing technology has also been seen and there are many more than expected. We were aware of the new Metro Exodus because it had been announced by the developers for weeks but having 22 games is not a trivial number.
22 games that will offer support for NVIDIA Raytracing
The list of the 21 games that will support Ray Tracing (totally or partially) is at least curious and has great games:
- ARK: Survival Evolved
- Asetto Corsa Competition
- Atomic Heart, Battlefield V
- Control
- Dauntless
- in-death
- E
- Final Fantasy XV
- The Forge Arena
- Fractured Lands
- Hitman 2
- Justice
- JX3
- Mechwarrior V: Mercenaries
- Metro Exodus
- PUBG
- Remnant from the Ashes
- Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider
- We Happy Few
- Project DH
Note: NVIDIA has highlighted that not all the titles on this list support Ray Tracing but that it is a reference of the games that will make use of Artificial Intelligence. Titles known to use this technology are highlighted in bold and underlined.
Ray Tracing is a technology developed to offer a better graphic experience in games by providing greater realism in terms of lighting and shadows. Pascals will be able to do these tasks but doing this work is very heavy for them and it can take up to ten times longer to render the image, affecting the gaming experience.
We all liked the demonstration of what a GeForce RTX can do and it shows that NVIDIA has worked hard to get this product but now we need the truth and see how they perform in games and see how they score in the benchmark to be able to give a judgment of full value.
