ADATA SE800: High-speed external SSD drive thanks to USB 3.2 Gen2

Launched ADATA SE800 drives, portable SSD hard drives that feature USB 3.2 Gen2 interface, to offer high transfer speed.

Time in today's society is money and every second has an important value. More and more demands are placed on technology, which must offer us high-speed solutions to waste as little time as possible. Thinking about these parameters, ADATA has developed high-speed external SSD drives. Specifically, the company has announced the ADATA SE800, based on the USB 3.2 port.

ADATA has developed this drive with users who require high transfer speeds and high capacity in mind. External drives based on mechanical hard drives are heavy, slow, and bulky. It has been especially thought of professionals in photo and video editing who operate with large files, need high transfer speeds and large capacity.

ADATA SE800 Portable SSD Introduced

The first thing that strikes you about this SE800 unit is that it features a brushed aluminum casing. This gives the unit great resistance and also offers lightness, weighing only 40 grams.

This unit is IP68 certified. This certification offers resistance to dust and even submerging it for 30 minutes at a depth of 1.5 meters. It also has the MIL-STD-810G 516.6 certification, which allows it to withstand drops of up to 1.22 meters in altitude.

This SE800 is based on the USB 3.2 Gen2 standard that allows us speeds of up to 1000MB / s. ADATA clarifies that although we have this unit in our equipment compatible with this type of connection, we must have UASP enabled to achieve maximum performance. To give us an idea, 50GB files can be transferred in just 50 seconds, and that is not under Thunderbolt 3.

This Plug'N'Play connection unit is available for Windows, Mac OS and Android (via OTG). It can also be installed on our console, to load the games more quickly, if we need it.

We have availability in blue and black, so that each user can choose the one that interests them the most. The 512GB drive is priced at € 113 and the 1TB drive is priced at € 175. We can already find them in stores.
