ADATA Drives Introduces LEGEND Series M.2 2280 PCIe SSDs
The manufacturer DATA Technology has announced the arrival of a new series of solid state drives aimed at creators with different needs and budgets. The ADATA LEGEND SSD series includes the ADATA LEGEND 740, the ADATA LEGEND 750, and the ADATA LEGEND 840.
The ADATA LEGEND 740 and 750 SSDs use PCIe Gen3 x4 and NVMe 1.3 technology to offer sequential read and write speeds of up to 2.500 / 2.000 and 3.500 / 3.000 MB per second respectively. This gives creators the performance they need to create without speed limitations. Its M.2 2280 specifications are compatible with the latest Intel and AMD platforms, including desktop and laptop computers. For users looking for an extra boost, the LEGEND 840 leverages PCIe Gen4 x4 and NVMe 1.4 technology to deliver read and write speeds of up to 5,000 / 4,500MB per second.
Three high-speed, high-capacity ADATA LEGEND SSDs
The ADATA LEGEND SSD models 740, 750 and 840 are equipped with SLC Caching and Host Memory Buffer technology to ensure perfect productivity. This gives them 4K random read write speeds of up to 180K / 200K, 480K / 260K, and 440K / 400K IOPS, respectively. In terms of capacity, the LEGEND series comes with models up to 1TB capacity.
All three SSDs are equipped with discreet heatsinks with side embellishments for a stylish visual touch. Its heat sinks not only do a good job of aesthetics, but they also help keep temperatures down to 15% to ensure optimal performance and stability. With low-density parity check code and 256-bit AES encryption, ADATA LEGEND SSDs ensure accurate data transmissions and offer robust security. They only use high-quality ICs that have been tested for maximum durability, and therefore have a 5-year warranty.
The ADATA LEGEND 840 SSD model can also be installed in a PS5 as a secondary storage drive. Thus, users can install it on the console to have more storage space and a more fluid game loading.
