Lisa Su confirms several Navi for 2019
Faced with different rumors, the head of the company has wanted to make it clear that this year we will see Navi graphics in the market. These will arrive during the second half of the year and will be presented in June of this year.
During the budget presentation, Su has highlighted that they expect bad data in graphics during this quarter. He highlighted that he expects an improvement in the second quarter of this year. He also highlighted that they had planned "additional product launches." This comment comes after Su stated that he expected an improvement in GPU sales for the second quarter.
He wanted to highlight that he expects a "growth in games" for this year 2019 that will be led by the Radeon VII. Within the event "Navi Launches" they hope to launch several graphic products based on the Navi architecture that will hit the market this year.
“Our growth in games will be driven by new products. We will see them throughout this year and with our launch of Radeon VII, as well as with Navi ”, Su highlighted during the presentation of the accounts.
We will see if this new Navi architecture is superior in performance to the Vega. There is little left for the Radeon VII to reach the market and everything indicates that the performance will not be as good as one might expect. All next February 7.
