Last night at the AMD conference, The RX 5600 XT graphics card was introduced. This graphics card is a trimmed version of the RX 5700, intended to compete with the NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti. Now two versions of this graphics card have been released for different markets. The RX 5600M for notebook computers and the RX 5600, a version tuned for the OEM market.
These OEM system and laptop solutions are designed to be highly efficient. They are GPUs developed for gaming under 1080p resolutions. The most relevant aspect is in the RX 5600M, a graphics for gaming laptops with reduced consumption to maximize autonomy.

All these GPUs offer us 36 Compute Units or what is the same 2304 Stream Processors. These graphics cards are accompanied by 6GB GDDR6 at a frequency of 12GHz. Of course, AMD will offer assemblers the ability to adjust frequencies and power consumption as needed. The graphics for laptops starts at 60W and can be increased as needed.
The RX 5600 will only be available to preconfigured system builders and will therefore not be available in stores. This model is still a shorter version than the Navi 10, since it only has 32 Compute Units, which are equivalent to 2048 Stream Processors. It will reach a maximum frequency of 1560Mz and will also have 6GB GDDR6 @ 12GHz. This graphics card has a closed TDP of 150W.
Possibly this trimmed version for OEM has some small defect or they are simply versions demanded by assemblers. We do not know at the moment which manufacturers use both the RX 5600 and the RX 5600M. Perhaps this graphics card is especially intended for the Chinese market, a growing market.
