AMD says its CES 2020 conference will be about “High Performance Computing”
On January 7, CES 2020 will begin in Las Vegas, the first great technology event of the year. Among other conferences we will have the AMD conference, which will be held by Lisa Su, CEO of the company. As always details of the presentations are a secret even before starting, despite the leaks. The presentation of the talk indicates that it will focus on "High Performance Computing"
We imagine that it refers to Threadripper processors and perhaps some Radeon RDNA for the professional market. We look forward to the unveiling of the Ryzen 4000G APUs and may provide some insight into the RDNA2 architecture. Be that as it may, we really want to see the company's conference and see what news it brings.

AMD today announced that it will host a press conference as part of the Official Media Days during CES 2020, hosted by AMD President and CEO Dr. Lisa Su. The event is scheduled for Monday, January 6 at 2:00 pm PST at Mandalay Bay (23:00 pm in Spain)
A live broadcast of the event will be available on AMD's YouTube channel. An archived version of the webcast will be available approximately two hours after the event and can be found on AMD's YouTube channel.
We can almost certainly say that we will see the AMD Threadripper 3990X with 64 cores and 128 threads and the Threadripper 3980X with 48 cores and 96 threads. It will be in this presentation when the working frequencies of these processors are revealed.
Everything indicates that we could also see AMD Renoir processors, APUs for laptops. It is speculated that they could go up to 12 cores and 24 threads of Zen2 @ 12nm with Vega graphics. An excellent solution for low consumption laptops and gaming equipment. We may also see the RX 5600 XT.
