AMD expects a sensational 2019 for AMD Ryzen, because they do not expect Intel to release Ice Lake

AMD workers and members, see Intel with a lot of problems and are especially excited about 2019, as they do not expect competition for AMD Ryzen.

Intel's dominance in the processor market is obvious, but the company is being besieged very hard by Intel, right at a time when they have a difficult time responding with a really new architecture and not the current refried. The AMD Ryzen are a hard problem for Intel and it is expected that next year 2019, the AMD Ryzen 3000 Series, will reach the market to continue fighting, which will be based on Zen 2 and the 7nm manufacturing process.

AMD says Intel will be below its forecast in 2019.

It is clear that the fun at AMD is maximum, since they have encountered two factors that they did not expect. Intel cannot make the jump to 10nm, due to technical problems and the AMD Ryzen have come out better than expected and are reaping higher sales than expected. That's why internal AMD sources claim that Zen 2 and the server processors, EPYC Rome, will be optimal to compete head-to-head with Intel's 10nm-based Ice Lake.

From the company, they see it unlikely that Intel can launch anything in 2019, at least, based on 10nm, so Ice Lake would continue to postpone and of course, AMD would position itself as the 'only' market solution. The company would have an opportunity, served on a platter and that would be unprecedented in modern technology.

AMD's situation is very good, we are not going to deny it, but they should not be trusted, because Intel has great power and could turn everything around in a matter of days or weeks. Nor should we forget that Intel launched graphics cards in 2020 (possibly earlier), something that will pose serious problems for AMD, but also for NVIDIA, who will find competition, something unprecedented in recent years, in the high range.

    1. And 2021, because there are American analysts who already indicate that Intel will not reach 10 nm until the end of 2021 ..
