RDNA2 architecture Big Navi GPUs will arrive before 'Next-Gen' consoles
A few months ago, AMD revealed the existence of a graphics card called Big Navi, a high-end, high-performance product. This Big Navi GPU has not reached the market, because it has apparently been developed under the RDNA2 architecture. This architecture is the same as that used in the GPUs of the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles.
Although we hadn't known about Big Navi GPUs for a long time, they are back in the spotlight. AMD CFO Davinder Kumar has reported that it will be the first RDNA2-based product released to the market. This has been communicated at the Bank of America's Global Securities Technology Conference.

There is a lot of excitement about Navi 2, or what our fans have called the Big Navi. Big Navi is a “halo product” (a product that generates a lot of interest) and enthusiasts love to buy the best, and we are certainly working to give them the best.
Davinder Kumar, Chief Financial Officer, AMD
This new RDNA2 architecture is highly anticipated because it will be the first to support Ray Tracing technology. Apparently they will use a different system than NVIDIA, not integrating dedicated hardware. It seems that they used the same Stream Processors, optimizing the design and implementing specific algorithms. Although until AMD explains how it works, they are only possibilities.
Kumar also reiterated that they are "on track to launch our next generation of Zen3 processors and RDNA2 graphics by the end of 2020." There are rumors that the first Zen3 processors will arrive in September or October. There is not much data on RDNA2-based Big Navi GPUs at the moment, although there is also talk of October. Be that as it may, it seems that this end of the year will be quite hectic in the technological field.
