The Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9 will be accompanied by the Wraith Prism cooler
For the new Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9, AMD has opted to add the Wraith Prism heatsink, which has RGB LED lighting.
AMD's new Ryzen 3000 processors will arrive on the market on July 7th. The APUs, Ryzen 5, Ryzen 7, and Ryzen 9 will be launched. The latter two, the Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9, will come with the company's best cooler: the Wraith Prism. This cooler was introduced with the Ryzen 2000 series and features RGB lighting.
This heatsink should be more than enough for these processors, since it is characterized by a TDP of 120W. It also contrasts sharply with the stock Intel heatsink, which is the worst on the market. The AMD heatsink is also compatible with Razer Chroma for RGB lighting.
AMD will use the Wraith Prism for the Ryzen 7 and Razer 9
For these Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 9 processors, the company has opted to implement the best heatsink it has. This will allow users to save some money, if they do not want to opt for a better cooler. Stealth and Spire models will be left for simpler processors. These other heatsinks have lower dissipation capacity and therefore have not been considered.
If you are not going to overclock, this heatsink will be more than enough. Those who want to do OC or are looking for a more efficient solution, there are many options on the market. It is not necessary, certainly, because the AMD heatsinks are very good.
We recall that the processors will start at 205 euros for the Ryzen 5 3600 and will go up to just over 500 euros for the Ryzen 9 3900X. Note that motherboard prices have been filtered and these start from 200 euros, something that makes them very expensive. For the Ryzen 5 3600, which will surely be the best seller, an X470 with updated BIOS will be more than enough.
