AMD modifies the specification sheet of the Ryzen 3000 for not reaching the Boost frequency
To avoid further conflicts, AMD adjusts the datasheets of the new Ryzen 3000 processors due to complaints from some users.
The new AMD Ryzen 3000 series processors based on Zen 2 @ 7nm offer a significant performance improvement over their predecessors. These new processors have experienced some minor issues with AMD 400 and 300 Series chipset motherboards. However, the most significant criticisms concern their operating voltages and frequencies. Many users complain that their Ryzen 3000 processors are not reaching their maximum frequency.
Some users are not happy with this situation. To fix the problem and misunderstandings, AMD has expanded the data in its spec sheet. Now there is an indicator about the 'maximum frequency' of the Ryzen 3000 processors. Something that does not mean that the processors sell wonderfully and the complaints are from a minority of users.

There are users who complain that their Ryzen 7 3700X processors do not reach the 4.4GHz specified by AMD. They claim that most are not capable of passing 4.35GHz, reaching 4.38GHz at most.
To clarify it, we wanted to clarify the 'Max Boost Clock' parameter. Within the specification sheet, the workload has been detailed so that the processor can reach the maximum frequency. A frequency that has a lot to do with XFR 2 and Precision Boost 2 used in Ryzen 3000 processors.
The company specifies in detail the maximum processor frequencies based on the number of cores running. AMD emphasizes that the maximum frequency is only reached in one of the cores. The conditions necessary to reach this maximum operating frequency are not specified.
The problem is that it is not usually the case that only one kernel works. It is not common that they are all working, but a large part of them are. This would prevent the processor from being able to reach the frequency specified by AMD. Something that Intel has been doing for a long time and that doesn't seem to matter to anyone.
Intel has Boost 2.0 and Boost 3.0. The first indicates the maximum frequency to which all its cores can go. What the Boost 3.0 tells us is the maximum frequency in a single core, the one with the best performance. It should be noted that Intel is quite opaque at these frequencies and that AMD copies this feature, it is not good.
