Sapphire says that AMD Navi will be presented on May 27 and will be more expensive than expected
Leaking indicates that the new AMD Navi graphics will be presented on May 27 and would be a real fiasco in performance and price.
On May 27th, Lisa Su, CEO of AMD, will present the AMD Ryzen 3000 and EPYC Rome processors. The processors will be based on the Zen2 @ 7nm architecture. A special AMD event for E3 2019 was announced shortly after, where the Navi graphics were supposed to be presented. It seems that things have changed for the umpteenth time and that is that Sapphire could present two Navi graphics on May 27. The prices of these graphics cards have also been revealed, which would be higher than expected.

The leak comes from Videocardz and is therefore the most reliable to date. The simplest Navi AMD Navi model would cost $399, which in exchange would be about 420 euros (with taxes). Its performance would be comparable to the RTX 2060 that can be found for about 360 euros starting. The most advanced Navi model would cost 499 dollars, which in exchange is about 540 euros (with taxes). This graph would perform more or less the same as the RTX 2070 which starts at 500 euros, depending on the model.
It is not the data that AMD fans expected, far from it. If this is confirmed, we will have a resounding failure from AMD and a near fatal blow to the Radeon division. And it is that as is known AMD Navi has been rumored, it would be based on the GCN design, which is highly inefficient. If we add a worse performance than its rival from NVIDIA, its higher price and predictably more consumption, they would not be worth even as a paperweight.
We'll see the details of these AMD Navi graphics cards on May 27th, which are expected to hit the market on July 7th. The preliminary data is far worse than all the leaks we've seen so far.
