AMD Next Horizon: The Mysterious AMD Event to Be Held on November 6

AMD's investor relations website is on the move and an event is published that has been dubbed only: "AMD Next Horizon"

It is very interesting the new publication by AMD on the web that they have for investor relations, where they have published a new event called “AMD Next Horizon”. This event is scheduled for November 6 and this is all that is known about the company's next event. It should be noted that the event website is completely aseptic and apart from the name of the event itself and a link to the calendar with the date of the event, there is not the least relevant information.

"AMD New Horizon", a special event of the company of which nothing is known.

The most interesting thing is that this event has been published in the special website that they have dedicated to investor relations. US regulations establish that any company like in this case AMD, publish future events where important information will be disclosed. This makes us think that the company is thinking of announcing or talking about new products, architectures or work plans. Be that as it may, the ad will be wide-ranging, since applying this rule means that they will provide relevant information about something new.

Using the term "New Horizon" makes us think that AMD will present very important things or at least, it will talk about important products for the future of the company and it is that the company has already used the terminology "Horizon" before. We must go back two years to find another “New Horizon” event where the company spoke for the first time about Ryzen processors.

If we follow the common thread, quite possibly the company will tell us about the Ryzen based on the Zen 2 architecture or perhaps they will tell us about Navi, the architecture for gaming graphics cards that will arrive in 2019 and that will be based on the 7nm lithography.
