AMD could launch 600 Series chipset later this year
AMD's situation in the processor market is quite idyllic, offering a product superior to the competition. The problem is mostly on the motherboards. Currently AMD only offers the X570 chipset, there is no cheaper solution, although these cheap chipsets would be very close. But now the rumor jumps about the new AMD 600 chipset, which would arrive at the end of this year.
Just a few days ago, China Times leaked that ASMedia would shortly begin mass production of the AMD B550 and A520 chipset. It is speculated that the motherboards with these chipsets will arrive at the end of this quarter, at the beginning of the next quarter at the latest. These chipsets, according to rumors, will not support the PCIe 4.0 interface.

AMD would launch 600 Series chipsets by the end of the year
According to reports, ASMedia is already commissioned to produce the AMD 600 chipsets. For years both companies have collaborated in the manufacture of chipsets, except for the X570. This last chipset has been developed entirely by AMD and manufactured by a third party, leaving aside ASMedia. The reasons for this strategy are unknown, but it seems that any problem has disappeared.
Vermeer, which is the codename of the Ryzen 4000 based on the Ze3 @ 7nm + architecture, will arrive in the second half of the year. According to the information regarding the chipset for these processors, they could arrive by the end of the year.
It has also been reported that ASMedia's USB 3.2 Gen2x2 control chip could be in high demand. Intel currently offers USB 3.2 Gen2 in its processors that offers up to 10Gbps. ASMedia's solution enables transfer speeds of up to 20Gbps. Finally, it has also been speculated that by the end of the year ASMedia could launch the first chip that offers support for the USB 4.0 interface.
It seems that this year will be really interesting.
